A name or place entered in a search tool is sent to the outside company that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. We do not keep a separate log or store those search terms on our systems.

The site explains where Buena Vista County records are held by the sheriff, Iowa District Court, the Iowa Department of Public Safety's Division of Criminal Investigation, and the Iowa Sex Offender Registry. Iowa Code chapter 692 governs state criminal-history access and challenge rights through the official repository; it does not turn this private resource into a record custodian. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports about other people.
